Open Data

Since the portal was launched on May 28, 2014, the city of Bonn has made data from the city administration and other Bonn institutions available for free use as open data. The data can be used and processed by private individuals, companies and institutions.

The open data activities of the Bonn city administration are based on a political resolution on the Open Government Data (OGD) guidelines passed by the Bonn City Council on January 30, 2014.

Here you can obtain data sets from the city administration and other Bonn institutions for free use.

Open Data Monitoring

In addition to the Open Data Catalog, we have published a more extensive Open Data Monitoring (OGD Cockpit). In addition to data monitoring, this platform also offers supplementary information on IT interfaces (API), descriptions of IT interfaces, data tips for Bonn and an overview of submitted data requests.
