The Open Data Portal has received a comprehensive DKAN update and a new homepage. We would like to thank the City of Cologne, which hosts our Open Data offering, for its support and for the technical implementation. This portal solution is based on the free CMS software Drupal and the DKAN project from NuCivic. Many NRW municipalities are now using this development for their own open data publications.

The metadata information of all datasets published on the Bonn portal will continue to be transmitted to the Open Data portal of the state of NRW,  https://open.nrw, (opens in a new tab) and from there to  https://govdata.de (opens in a new tab) up to EU level. We have been collecting data requests since the portal was launched.

Data requests to the Bonn city administration can now be entered centrally via the menu item "Request data".
