The metadata model of the Bonn Open Data Portal was converted to DCAT-AP.de on July 14, 2021. DCAT-AP.de is a binding basis for the exchange of metadata between open data portals. The German schema DCAT-AP.de is based on DCAT-AP, the European Application Profile, which was developed in cooperation between DG Informatics, DG Connect and the Publications Office of the EU and is maintained as one of the activities of the ISA program. For the delivery of metadata from the Bonn Open Data Portal via Open.NRW to the GovData Portal, all relevant DCAT-AP.de metadata records must be accessible in a so-called catalog under one URL. DCAT-AP and thus the German derivation DCAT-AP.de is an RDF vocabulary. The associated specification is maintained by the GovData Business and Coordination Office. It sets out binding rules on how data is to be marked up on the decentralized side and delivered to the central Germany-wide GovData portal.

The open data portal is hosted by the City of Cologne. We would like to thank the City of Cologne for project management and technical implementation!
