The Bonn-based IT company Wheregroup launched a new  blog (opens in a new tab) at the beginning of 2021. In it, GIS and geo-IT specialists regularly provide information about solutions and news from the fields of geoinformation and geo-IT. In the first entry, Wheregroup's technical director Marcel Norman explains the possibility of providing OpenStreetMap data with Tilemaker.

A new feature is the  "movement radius calculator" (opens in a new tab), which is available to everyone. With just a few clicks, the 15-kilometer radius of movement around a location can be displayed on the interactive map. This may well be of interest given the dynamic nature of the pandemic.
