In future, the district town of Rastatt will rely on a GIS from a single source. After the old system no longer seemed suitable for the increasing demands on a modern software solution, the town with almost 50,000 citizens decided in favor of the VertiGIS solutions GeoOffice, WebOffice and ProOffice in combination with ArcGIS technology from Esri.

Road control, urban land use planning, the conversion of the sewer database and the internal WebGIS are requirements that are implemented on the basis of ALKIS data. Components from the GeoOffice product family, such as GeoOffice Analyst and GeoOffice xPlanung, are available for desktop processing. The road inspections are carried out with ProOffice on mobile devices from Panasonic.
