With the online wedding calendar, the registry office in Bonn offers the opportunity to make appointments for civil marriages online. This allows citizens to start planning their wedding ceremony from the comfort of their own home and around the clock.

In Bonn, you can get married in the loggia at the City Hall, in the Old Town Hall, in the district town halls or at many other desired wedding venues outside the registry office. The online wedding calendar therefore contains dates for weddings on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Loggia am City Hall, on Fridays in the Old Town Hall, the Loggia am City Hall or in the district town halls as well as all days and locations where the wedding can take place on a Saturday.

Residents of Bonn can reserve a wedding date up to 12 months in advance. For people who do not live in Bonn, it is possible to reserve a date for a civil marriage up to nine months in advance.

"We would like to offer couples the opportunity to have a high degree of planning security for their wedding preparations at an early stage and thus fulfill a wish that has been expressed many times," says Martina Suhr, head of the registry office of the city of Bonn.
