Since spring 2017, a start-up center has been established at Bonner Bogen, which supports potential entrepreneurs in founding a start-up and offers newly founded start-ups an already established infrastructure.

Networking with companies in Bonn and the scientific community is particularly important here. The new funding phase will run until 2022 and the five regional networks in Bonn, Aachen, Düsseldorf, Essen and Münster will continue to receive ten million euros in funding. Bonn will receive the largest amount of state funding at 2.25 million euros. The city of Bonn is contributing 225,000 euros via an earmarked donation.
