Good news for all parents and pupils: You can now apply for your school ticket online. Whether it's a new application, a change of school or a change of personal details - these applications can be submitted digitally from the comfort of your own home.

In the past, applying for a school ticket often meant days of preparation and waiting times. The previous process has now been simplified. Thanks to the new option of applying for the ticket online, parents and pupils can now complete the application from their desk at home or even on the go with their smartphone.

The online application is now available in the service portal of the City of Bonn. You will need a BundID for this. Authentication with the eID function of the new ID card is not required.

With the student ticket, students can use public transport buses and trains within the VRS area all year round (including at weekends and on public holidays). You can find more information about the school ticket and sibling discounts at www.bonn.de
